All About Floor Stripping
Hey, we hope you’re having a fantastic day! We have another exciting blog for you about floor stripping. One of our best services here at CLEANbee is floor stripping and wax. So you might be asking, what does it entail? Well, lots of things, but since we don’t want to put it all in one confusing, long paragraph, we will break it down for you so here we go.
Floor stripping and waxing begin with a process of laying down the stripper. For anyone who doesn’t know, the stripper is like an acid that removes scratches, grime, grease, and anything sitting on your floors for a long time.
Once the stripper has been laid down, we mop it, giving it an even coat across the floor’s surface. Once this has been evenly spread, the exciting part comes, waiting. Usually anywhere from 10-35 minutes, depending on how bad the floor is.
After waiting, in comes the scrubber. We use a machine that scrubs floors, makes the acid foam, and cleans all the grime and things off the floor. The scrubber then goes to vacuum up the leftover liquid.
After that, we apply our wax. Waxing is super easy. We take the mop, dip it into our wax, and spread a nice coat. The wax gives the floor a shiny, new look. Of course, like everything else in life, wax takes patience. We make sure to move nice and slow, giving the floor a loving coat of wax. To create a mirror reflection on the floors, we usually have to apply anywhere from 2-5 coats of wax. This process is only used for tile, not hardwood or vinyl flooring.
Well, we hope you had a good time learning about our process. This is only for commercial properties with commercial vinyl tile installed for flooring. We hope you learned a few things because you’re never too old to learn. If you are interested in scheduling a floor stripping, click here. We hope you have a great day, and we’ll see you soon!
