One of the services that we offer here at CLEANbee is hard surface floor care. Many people do not have an understanding of hard surface floor care, so we will clarify what that looks and means to you.
Hard surface floors are used in a variety of applications in both residential and commercial spaces. They are produced from a variety of materials, including concrete, many different types of tile, including ceramic, slate, commercial vinyl tile, and vinyl plank flooring, to name a few.
In any of these cases, there are multiple ways to care for the flooring, including scrubbing, protective coatings, using sealants and waxes, as well as even buffing for numerous different surfaces. The solutions we use will restore the life and the luster to your floors, which is incredibly essential both visually and to protect the surface of your floors.
Studies completed not too long ago, where researches looked at two car dealerships that were similar in sales numbers, both with Vinyl Commercial Tile or VCT for short. The one dealership made sure windows were clean, lighting was adequate, and all in good working order and walls and corners were wiped down. However, the floor was not cared for properly. As a result, while the floor surface was clean, it was scuffed and did not have the proper maintenance program.
The second dealership was the opposite. The floor was shiny and had an appropriate program of maintenance, but lacked details in the cleanliness and the maintenance area. At the end of the study, the dealership with the adequately cared for glossy floors sold more cars! It is a proven fact that when your floor maintenance program is up to speed, it produces a cleaner, higher-end environment, causing customers to want to pay more. This is true in both the retail space, as well as the residential space. In residential areas, it is all about how people will view you as a person and as a family.
To breakdown our services in a commercial space, we will do things such as scrub regular ceramic floor tile, as well as add protective layers of wax. The shininess will vary, depending on the look the owner desires, and we can tailor to those needs. With VCT in those spaces, we would strip and wax the floors to bring the life back, then set up a scrub, buff, and re-coat program to preserve the life of the floor and to keep the maintenance cost as low a price as possible.
For concrete, we can degrease and scrub, as well as add layers of wax to create a smooth protective surface that is easy to clean.
On the domestic front, we can wash almost any type of flooring, as well as wax or polish based upon the client’s needs. In garages or basements, we can wax the concrete floors on bare concrete or even after they are painted to produce a clean look and a protective layer making it easier to keep the floor surface as clean as possible.
In the commercial and residential spaces, we can also clean, then seal your concrete in garages, driveways, or walkways solely for protection, or even to offer an added glossy look to set your home apart in the neighborhood.
